Fall: Transitioning from Summer to Fall

In the city, there are a few weeks when its hot one day and chilly the next. Uber rides get costly and cabs are a rare find. Currently it is 65 degrees in October when yesterday, I swear it was 80 degrees.

We all dress for the office or day wear but transitioning to night can be tough. The same goes for transitioning to another season. For the few of us that get to dress per event or outing who are not running from one occasion to the next, I envy you.

This was my approach (*I am the ombre girl with blue nails):

I pulled out the leather skirt found at a Memphis Macy's on sale fr $20 by Jessica Simpson (size: L) and added a crop top from Express (again on sale) $20 (size: L). On top my favorite leather jacket from Bloomingdales purchased years ago for around $200 (Bloomingdales brand, size Small).

Leather is a Fall almost winter material but lace was very 'in' this summer. Matching these types of combinations as we enter another season, pulls the style together and allows us to walk head up into the room of Meatpacking fashionistas!
