Hair: Style + Color + Accessories

Hair success = Drybar

[Sweater: Bloomingdales Brand, size: L]
If you can't do it, please blow dry + curl or straighten with an iron. If you are part of that lucky 1% who has no frizz, voluminous hair, I HATE YOU.

Hair Color = Wear what looks good on YOU and not what you see in magazines
As far as I'm concerned, I should have been ombre since birth. I always struggled with going too dark (*I had black hair for a time) or too light (*I had white hair for a time) depending on the season. While it is true that during the summer a hint of highlights brightens you up, no need to over do it.

I am Peruvian, Chinese (mother) and English, Irish, German (father). This means that while hispanic, I am also medium to fair depending on the season. During the winter, I have done all shades of brown to black and during, summer all shades of blonde. Currently, I am enjoying NOT dying my roots and just applying bleach on the bottom (*My NYC hair colorist, Kristin Levy, Kristin.Levy@aol.com).

COLOR is 'IN' but it doesn't mean it is for you. Personally, I love it. Therefore, I have it. I added a touch of Navy underneath for shock and fun at night.

Hair accessories = Hats, Headbands and Flowers
[Bebe dress, size: 2 and Henri Bendels headband]

Not all hair accessories look good on me. Try a few and decide what you like. Personally, my head is a bit large and some hats make my head look HUGE. This is not me fictitious, this is me being honest with myself. That is the main aspect of personal fashion and style. *Remember: When you get compliments that means it is working.
